Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman mahasiswa pendidikan matematika dalam memaknai pembuktian pada mata kuliah Analisis Real. Fenomena ini penting karena pembuktian menandai transisi dari matematika prosedural menuju matematika formal, abstrak, dan deduktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis dengan data yang merepresentasikan hasil wawancara mendalam, observasi perkuliahan, serta analisis dokumen tugas mahasiswa. Partisipan adalah delapan mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika IKIP Widya Darma Surabaya yang sedang atau telah menempuh Analisis Real. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik refleksif untuk menemukan pola makna dari pengalaman mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan empat tema utama, yaitu mahasiswa merasa asing dengan simbol dan definisi yang digunakan, merasa bingung saat harus memulai sebuah pembuktian, mengalami konflik antara menghafal pola bukti dengan benar-benar memahaminya, serta akhirnya mengalami perubahan cara pandang bahwa bukti dipahami bukan sekadar hafalan, melainkan sebagai cara berpikir dalam matematika. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembuktian dalam Analisis Real bukan sekadar aktivitas kognitif, melainkan pengalaman epistemik, afektif, dan reflektif yang membentuk kesadaran matematis mahasiswa sebagai calon guru. Kontribusi penelitian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman baru mengenai proses terbentuknya kesadaran matematis mahasiswa ketika mereka menegosiasikan keterasingan, kebuntuan, dan strategi hafalan menuju pemaknaan bukti sebagai cara berpikir. Implikasinya, dosen pengampu Analisis Real perlu merancang pembelajaran yang menampilkan proses pemaknaan definisi dan konstruksi bukti secara eksplisit, sedangkan program studi pendidikan matematika dapat menggunakan temuan ini sebagai dasar untuk memperkuat kurikulum berbasis pembuktian sejak semester pertama.
